In 2017, Yang Denghui represented China in the 44th WorldSkills Competition. Aged just 20 at the time, he won the gold medal in the CNC milling event. As a world champion, he received many high-paying job offers. However, he chose to become a teacher. In the past few years, he has not only trained two more WorldSkills champions but also opened up exciting career paths for many other youngsters by helping them master high-precision manufacturing.
